Acura is a Japanese automotive brand that is exclusively into making luxury vehicles and sportscar models. The company is a fully owned subsidiary of Honda and it was introduced to the United States and Canada in early 1986, immediately after its original inception. In addition to their luxury models, Acura launched the NSX, which was their sportscar with a mid-engine mounting.

For a slightly larger sum of $33,000, Acura will sell you their TLX sedan. The Acura TLX is a luxury sedan that has a certain level of sporting credentials thanks to its optional 290 hp V6 motor.
The range topping sedan of Acura is the RLX, which will set you back by a significant $54,450. The vehicle has taken design cues from European limousines and is available with a standard gasoline V6 engine and as a hybrid version with a peak power output of 377 hp. The interior of the car is a mix of wood and leather to lend it a plush feel. Despite being focussed on comfort, the Acura RLX can still perform quite well thanks to its dual clutch automatic gearbox and all wheel drive.
Acura SUVs
Acura sells two SUVs in the United States market. The first among them is the RDX, which is a stylish mid-sized SUV that works very well on both city roads and on highway jaunts. The vehicle is driven by a 279 hp V6 motor and costs just under $ 36,000 to put on your driveway.
The larger, full-size SUV from Acura is the MDX and it can ferry 6 people around in comfort. Priced from just over $44,000 onwards, the MDX can be ordered with a gasoline or hybrid powertrain and with front wheel drive or all wheel drive.
Acura Sportscars and Upcoming Cars
Acura is best known, however, for its sportscar. Needless to say, the vehicle in question is the Acura NSX. The car had its first production run from 1990 to 2005, and was then halted. Acura revived the model in 2016 and equipped it a V6 engine and an electric motor that together produce 573 bhp. Due to this power and the use of several space age innovations, the NSX can blitz from 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds.

Acura reported sales of 14,038 units in the United States market during the month of June 2017. This represents an increase of 23.7% from the same month of last year. Other Acura vehicles also performed strongly in terms of sales, such as the RDX SUV, which had its best June sales ever.
