Powering the Buick LaCrosse is a 3.6 liter V6 gasoline motor that puts out 310 hp and 282 lb. ft. of torque. Although it is powerful, its efficiency is rather good as well, thanks to eco-friendly features such as automatic start-stop that turns the car’s engine off when it comes to a standstill and automatically turns it back on when the throttle pedal is pressed.

Another green feature this car has is cylinder deactivation, which shuts off some of the car’s 6 cylinders when full power isn’t required. The power is sent to the car’s wheels via an 8 speed automatic transmission.
Safety
Buick has endeavoured to make the LaCrosse a very safe vehicle. As a result, the company has equipped the car with heated rear view mirrors, traction control, ABS with brake assist, a vehicle stability control system that Buick calls StabiliTrak, 10 airbags located throughout the passenger cabin, automatic braking, automatic headlights, lane change alert, tyre pressure monitoring, front pedestrian detection and rear cross traffic alert.
