Infiniti is a relative newbie in the world of automobiles, having been set up only in 1989. The company commenced its sales operations at the outset in the American markets, but it has now expanded its services to several countries and regions spread across the globe.

Apart from working on new hybrid powertrains and other technical aspects, Infiniti has also branched out into the world of motorsports. The company was responsible for sponsoring the Renault engines for the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team for the 2011 season.

Infiniti Sedans

The company has two main sedans in their model fleet, the first among them being the Infiniti Q50. Prices for the Q50 start from $34,200 onwards, and prospective buyers have multiple trim levels and even the option of a front wheel drive or AWD to choose from. Power comes from either a 2.0L, 4 cylinder motor that puts out 208 hp or a 3.0L V6 that is tuned to develop 300 or 400 hp. The Q50 is even available as a hybrid, with a 3.5L V6 and an electric motor that together produce 360 hp.

Next up is the Infiniti Q70, which can be specified with a 3.7L V6 engine that delivers 330 hp or a 5.6 liter V8 that pounds out 420 hp. The Q70 is also available with the same hybrid powertrain used in the smaller Q50. Prices for this sedan start from just over $50,000. This vehicle is also available as a longer and more luxurious model, called the Infiniti Q70L.

Infiniti Coupes

As of now, Infiniti has only one coupe in its product portfolio, the Q60, which starts from just under the $39,000 mark.

The Infiniti Q60 coupe comes with 3 engine configurations: either a 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder, 208 hp motor or a 3.0 liter V6 that is tuned to churn out 300 hp or 400 hp depending on the trim level in question. Buyers can also choose between an FWD or AWD when purchasing this car.

Infiniti Crossovers and SUVs

Starting at a price of just under $30,000, the QX30 is the least expensive Infiniti model on sale today. All trim levels of the Infiniti QX30 are powered by a 2.0L motor and the vehicles comes in both front wheel drive and four wheel driver guises.

The larger Infiniti QX50 is priced at $34,650 onwards and, for that money, you’ll get a 3.7L, 325 hp V6 engine. For a premium of $1,800, you can have all wheel drive in the QX50 as well.

Next up is the Infiniti QX60, which is equipped with either a 3.5L V6 that generates 295 hp or a hybrid powertrain that makes 250 hp. The base variant is priced at just over $43,000 while the top AWD hybrid trim costs $53,500.

Infiniti’s top of the line crossover is the QX70, which has the same 325 hp, 3.7L V6 used in some other models. However, it is loaded to the hilt with tech and is very well appointed too. Prices for the Infiniti QX70 commence start from $45,850 onwards.

Currently, Infiniti has only one full-size SUV on sale, the QX80. Powered by a 5.6L V8 heart that produces 400 hp, the Infiniti QX80 is priced between $63,850 and $89,450. The flagship Limited trim level pulls out all the stops to deliver all that a luxury SUV owner would want in their vehicle.
