Jaguar Stock Images – Sedans, Station Wagons, SUVs, and Sportscars
Jaguar is one of those auto makers that is steeped in history. The company has got several iconic and legendary cars to its name and were one of absolute best buys back in those days. Caught between shifting times, Jaguar teetered on the brink of extinction. But ever since the Tata Group, an Indian conglomerate, bought out the company around a decade ago in 2008, Jaguar has been producing some truly stellar cars. The company has turned itself around and, although they make a very limited set of cars, they have customers making a beeline for their showrooms at all times.

Jaguar was established in the UK over 80 years ago in 1936. Most of the company’s cars are designed at their design and engineering centres in Coventry and Warwickshire in the UK, while they are manufactured at their production and assembly facilities in Solihull and Castle Bromwich, both of which are also in the UK. Jaguar has evolved in terms of design and engineering to shake off its image as a car maker that caters only to the older segment of people and position itself as a car maker worthy of its attention from younger blood.

Jaguar Sedans
Jaguar’s sedans are, unsurprisingly, the company’s bread and butter models. Currently, their product portfolio comprises of three sedan variants. The first among them is the smallest sedan that Jaguar makes, the XE. Prices for this car commence from just under $36,000.
The next model is the car that brought Jaguar into the modern age, the XF. Seen as a beautiful example of British design and engineering, the XF gave many prospective buyers an alternative from buying the established Teutonic models that had ruled unhindered for decades. The vehicle is also available in a station wagon (what Jaguar calls SportBrake) version, and it will set you back nearly $48,000 to own one.
The flagship Jaguar model is the XJ limousine. Priced $74,400 onwards, this luxurious beauty is also one of the sportiest vehicles in its class and it has got features and tricks worthy of James Bond himself!
Jaguar SUVs
The first ever SUV to come out of Jaguar’s stables in the entire history of the company’s existence is the F-Pace. Although it was a bit of a controversial figure before its release, the F-Pace was very well accepted and fared quite well in terms of sales. Prices for the Jaguar F-Pace commence from just over 42,000 onwards.
Sensing the rising awareness of environmental consciousness and the need for smaller SUVs, Jaguar is also bringing out the new E-Pace SUV. Pegged at a starting price point of 38,600, the Jaguar E-Pace brings together design elements from several other Jaguar models.
Jaguar Sportscars
As of now, there is only one model in Jaguar’s sportscar portfolio, the F-Type. This car created waves when it came out for its sensational design and soundtrack. Buyers can order this car with a 4 cylinder, a V6 or a fire-breathing supercharged V8 engine. $60,000 is how much you’ll need to park one of these cars on your driveway.
SVO
Apart from these standard products, Jaguar has an in-house tuning division called SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) that takes cars and modifies them to give them proper racing credentials. So far, SVO has worked their magic only on the F-Type, thus creating the F-Type SVR. However, they are putting finishing touches to their latest creation, the XE SV Project 8.
Jaguar Sales and Special Offers
The company provides a selection of low APR financing plans and leasing schemes to make the ownership of a Jaguar easier. Jaguar Land Rover North America reported May 2017 sales in the United States market of 3,113 units, which represents a profound 44% rise from 2,164 units that the company sold in May 2016. This has been the best May sales of the company since 2004. The vehicle that sold the most in May 2017 was the F-Pace SUV, having racked up 1,440 units.
