Kia Sportage Compact Crossover Review: Pictures, Specs, Price

Although Kia Motors, the makers of the Kia Sportage, has been in existence in South Korea since 1944, it has not seen such a meteoric rise in global sales ever before in its history. Over the years, this Hyundai-owned company has included several different vehicles in its product portfolio, and more recently, one of its consistently highest selling models has been the Kia Sportage.

The Kia Sportage was first launched in 1993 and is currently on sale in its 4th generation. This compact crossover was a boxy vehicle with uninspiring design when it first came out but now, it looks really fancy from every quarter. Kia has left no stone unturned in ensuring that the Sportage is stylish, powerful, and extremely well equipped. It comes as no surprise that it has been selling like hot cakes all over the world.

Kia Sportage Features

Although the Sportage might not be the vehicle for you if you require tons of space, the vehicle makes up for it by being extremely well kitted out, even in its easy-on-the-wallet, base trim level. The car comes with LED headlights and fog lamps, alloy rims (17, 18 or 19 inchers), a panoramic sunroof, sound-insulating acoustic window glass, and soft touch materials on the inside for a padded, more upmarket feel.
