The Lexus LC, ever since it was introduced a few years ago, has always been one of the best coupes in the company’s model range. The latest iteration of the car has been the subject of moderate remodelling, and it now looks sharper, more aggressive and more purposeful than ever before.

Features
The Lexus engineering boffins have been hard at work to make the LC as aerodynamic as possible. This work has resulted in the car being kitted out with gadgets such as fully flush exterior door handles and a rear spoiler that extends upwards at speeds above 50 mph to provide additional down force. The car also has a limited slip differential and active rear wheel steering that improves its cornering abilities and reduce the turning circle. The Lexus LC also has the bragging rights of sporting the thinnest LED projector headlights among all production vehicles.
Lexus LC Interior View
Lexus gives a lot of attention to detail when designing their cars, and this is evident in elements such as a slightly elliptical steering wheel (compared to the perfectly round traditional steering) which is supposed to be more ergonomic to hold. Other features include automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel, ambient interior lighting using LEDs, door panels trimmed in alcantara, a gear knob finished in leather, a 915 watt sound system with 13 speakers from Mark Levinson, 8-way power adjustable sports seats and so on.

Lexus LC Under the Hood
Lexus makes extensive use of carbon fiber in the construction of the LC coupe as it is nearly 50% lighter than steel, yet stronger and more rigid. This factor alone contributes significantly to the car’s driving dynamics. Interested clients can choose between a 3.5 liter V6 engine that is paired to an electric motor to produce a combined system output of 354 hp; or a 5.0 liter V8 engine that develops 471 hp.
The LC will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds with the former configuration and in 4.4 seconds with the latter. While the hybrid version comes equipped with a CVT automatic gearbox, the gasoline version uses a 10 speed automatic transmission to channel power to its 21 inch wheels.

On the safety front, Lexus has equipped the LC with a blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, parking assist, a head-up display, lane keeping assist, pedestrian detection, and radar cruise control with automatic braking.
