Prices for the Lexus IS commence from just under $38,000 onwards. For an extra $1,000, Lexus will sell you their ES sedan. This vehicle is larger and more equipped than the IS and is driven by a 3.5 liter V6 that puts out 268 hp.
If you require even more size and comfort, the Lexus GS is the next step up. For prices starting from $46,310 onwards, you can have the GS specified with either a 2.0 litre, 4 cylinder gasoline motor or a 3.5 liter V6 engine. This car is also on sale in its more powerful GS F avatar. For its 467 hp V8 powerplant, you’ll need to shell out almost $84,000.
The top of the line sedan from the company is, unquestionably, the Lexus LS. With a base price in excess of $72,000, the LS comes with a 4.6 liter V8 engine that sends its power to the car’s rear wheels only. Lexus has reported sales in the United States market of 28,902 units in the month of July this year. This number represented an increase of 3.63% on a volume basis from the 27,890 units that were sold during July of last year.
Despite the fact that the company’s sedans and coupes did not perform well in terms of sales in July 2017 (having posted a drop of 4.5% compared to July 2016), the crossovers and SUVs of Lexus more than made up for it by climbing almost 18% to push the overall July sales of the company into the green.
