The Lincoln Motor Company came into existence 100 years ago in 1917. Over the years, the company has been known for their production of luxury automobiles. In fact, the Lincoln Town Car is one of the most common cars to be converted into a stretch limousine. Although the vast majority of the company’s sales are focussed within the North American region, Lincoln has more recently expanded to serve a few countries in the Middle East, as well as South Korea and China in the Far East.

Lincoln Sedans

Lincoln Crossovers & SUVs

Lincoln Sedans

Lincoln’s portfolio of sedans starts from the company’s smallest sedan, the MKZ. Although it may be the smallest Lincoln, it still packs a wallop. Power comes from either a 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder, 245 hp engine or a 3.0 liter V6 motor that has two turbochargers to boost its power output to 400 hp. Purchasing one of these will set you back by a little over $35,000. The Lincoln MKZ is also available in a hybrid guise, and best of all, it costs exactly the same as the regular MKZ.

However, the car that’s most recognized in Lincoln’s fleet is unquestionably the Continental. This new one is very stylishly designed and the interiors are beautifully appointed and very luxurious. Under its hood is the same 3.0 liter, 400 hp, twin turbo V6 and prices for this car start from $44,720 onwards. The Continental can also be bought in its premium Black Label trim level, which brings with it a high degree of personalization.

Lincoln Crossovers

Currently in Lincoln’s showrooms, the company has three of its crossovers on offer. This segment starts from the Lincoln MKC, which is a compact crossover that has a price tag just short of the $33,000 mark. Its engine is frugal enough for the EPA to estimate it to return a fuel efficiency figure of up to 21 mpg on city roads.

For a sum of a little over $38,000, Lincoln will sell you the larger MKX, their mid-size crossover. The Lincoln MKX is a well kitted out vehicle with a lot of premium detailing and the option of a 2.7 liter or a 3.7 liter motor. The company’s top end crossover is the Lincoln MKT, which starts from $43,530. This vehicle is spacious enough to carry all of its occupants in excellent comfort and get them to the destination quickly thanks to its 3.5 liter, 365 hp V6 engine or 3.7 liter, 303 hp motor.

Lincoln SUVs

As of now, the Lincoln model range includes only one SUV, but it is a truly luxurious way of getting around. The vehicle in question is the Lincoln Navigator. For a price of $63,515, one of these powerful and sumptuously luxurious 8-seater SUVs can be sitting on your driveway. Its 3.5 liter V6 engine delivers 380 hp, enabling it to tow up to 9,000 lb; and as far as presence goes, Lincoln seems to have got it on point.

Lincoln Sales and Offers

The Lincoln Motor Company registered a decline in sales last month. The company sold 9,098 units in the month of July 2016, and that went down by almost 2.5% to 8,875 units in July this year. Although the entire model range of Lincoln reported losses in this particular time period, the year-to-date (YTD) sales of the MKC and MKX crossovers have shown positive growth figures of 9.44% and 1% respectively.

Sales of the new Lincoln Continental sedan touched 958 units in July 2017, and interestingly, over half of these numbers came from its top of the line Black Label and Reserve trim levels. To bring their cars within reach of a larger section of prospective car buyers, Lincoln has numerous leasing plans and low APR financing options, in addition to the provision of applying for credit.
