Anyone intending to purchase the Maserati Quattroporte will have to decide between two engine options. At the entry level, the Quattroporte comes with a 3.0 liter V6 engine that generates 404 hp and 406 lb. ft. of torque, which is sent to the wheels via an 8 speed automatic transmission. Buyers can also decide between two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

The top of the line trim level of the Quattroporte comes with a 3.8 liter V8 engine that churns out 523 hp and 524 lb. ft. of torque. This version also makes use of the same 8 speed automatic gearbox. In this guise, the Quattroporte can crack 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 193 mph.
