The Nissan Group announced that their total sales figures for the United States market in June 2017 stood at 143,328 units, which represents an increase of 2% over the same time frame of the prior year. This number also happens to be a record for the sales during the month of June.

Overall sales of Nissan crossovers, pick-up trucks and SUVs also set a June record, rising up by 20 percent. In what will be a pleasing note to those who aim for eco-friendliness, sales of the Nissan Leaf increased to 1,506 units, a spike of 37 percent.
