When it was first showcased to the public during the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, people were gobsmacked at the Arteon’s uber cool looks. Volkswagen Arteon Powertrain

Apart from the 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder, turbocharged TSI gasoline engine that pounds out 276 hp and 258 lb. ft. of torque, VW will also provide two additional gasoline engines and three diesel engines for prospective customers to choose from.

The 2.0L motor can easily get the Arteon from 0-62 mph in 5.6 seconds and eventually on to its electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. Regardless of the engine option you pick, the VW Arteon will be equipped with Volkswagen’s 7 speed, twin clutch, DSG automatic gearbox and the 4Motion all wheel drive system.

Safety
